Looking for holiday cottages in the Peak District? Coppice House Cottage is situated in the Rivelin Valley which stretches for nearly four miles from the outskirts of Sheffield through the Peak District National Park, towards the Hope Valley and Edale. It's seven hundred Lime trees make it the second longest Lime tree avenue in Britain. Once the fast flowing river emerging from the moorland peat was ideal for powering the wheels of the up to twenty water mills along its course.

The valley holds a scattering of smallholdings, farms and dwellings, with one or two delightful country pubs. It's many bridleways and footpaths make it very popular with ramblers (nearby is Hathersage thought to have inspired Charlotte Bronte to write Jane Eyre.) Edale, the start of the Pennine Way, is also a lovely place to visit, as is the impressive Ladybower dam. Just a short drive is the city of Sheffield with its attractions, nightlife and Meadow Hall.

We offer solitude, space to reflect, and quiet romantic retreats

Outward bound activities and stunning scenery

Indoor and outdoor play facilities
